Description
Above is a photo of two of our rondel dagger hilts, one in brushed gray steel with an unstained grip and the other in the blued black finish. Our hilt consists simply of two steel rondels and a steel banded grip. The rondels measure two inches in diameter. This is small enough to allow for a complete range of motion of the wrist in thrusting and parrying. Hardwood grips are five inches long and taper from a diameter of one and one eighth of an inch at the pommel end, down to seven eighths of an inch at the guard end. Grips are slightly oval shaped and flattened on the sides to allow for better edge control. Rondel hilts are sold mounted on one of our Safeflex dagger blades.
